I believe that Jesus' work will be expressed in two manifestations. His first appearing he provided forgiveness of our sin and imparted the Holy Spirit to indwell mankind he reestablished our authority, and dominion and the veil was torn, giving us to live in the presence of God.
We have been given a mandate; "If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I'll hear from Heaven and then I'll heal their land." Most Christians would shrug their shoulders and say; I already did that. But accepting the sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of our sinful condition was not all the rethinking that God wanted. God has given us a mandate that is a precursor to His coming. Repent! We have not completely taken on the nature of God.
We are to be like John the baptist in Jesus' first coming and proclaim the good news that the present chaos is part of God's plan, contrast, which will draw everyone into the kingdom. I believe the pattern of the early church, house churches or communities, was a continuing fulfillment of the instructions God gave Adam. For my Name's sake, Adam I have given you dominion to subdue the earth and bring it into righteousness or right standing of the laws of Heaven because that is how my glory will cover the earth. "Glory" means the weight or heaviness...able to be experienced as happiness. God was the first to exalt His Name, His Brand.
I believe this is a tested ideology that we can do now, recognizing we are managers of our King's property and wealth will ultimately learn the blessings of the commonwealth and create places of refuge where love rules and you can function without any assistance of the local government.
